It also plays OK with Center and Player on my Dell Desktop,Inspiron 530S I downloaded GSpot from http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ and ran it. I got this error: Failed to create instance of Xvid Mpeg-4 Video Decoder CoCreate instance Failed Error Ox80040154 [Unknown] I am looking for suggestions on how to proceed from here. Thanks Frank C
Hi, I had the same problem before (Running in Windows Media Player on Windows Vista Home Premium 32-Bit), but after converting it to another format, it played fine. I think you should convert your file too (into a format that you know works with Windows Media Center) ansd see if it works... but I'd advise you to make a backup of it, just in case. If you haven't already got a video/file convertor program, you can download FORMAT FACTORY (1.70 is latest at present) from:which is a great file convertor, for videos, music, pictures and more.
This may be a stupid question, but do you have the latest Xvid codec installed? That MIGHT be part of the problem... might.
