I have had many avi files in the past and they have all been fine with no problems. But i have one now and is failing to play. It plays one half grey and one half black then turns to fully black. Also the file is around 700mb and it says its only a 2mins and 50sces long which is a bit odd. I used a programme called G-Spot to identify any problems but it said that i had the correct codecs and it should be playing fine. Recently i have another avi file and those are perfect. Any one have any suggestions
download a different file of ther same movie, Limewire works well and 4 the playing the movie i use VLC
What details does GSpot give? To be that short and that large it would need to be either corrupt or say RAW RGB24.
