Well, my .avi file's audio is out of sync. I decompressed the file, using a program that I have, and the audio fixed itself (it is now PCM). Thats awesome. However, when I tried to convert the file to DVD using ConvertX to DVD, the file wouldn't finish encoding, because it encountered some sort of a problem.

-What should I go about doing, to get the audio back in sync and be able to burn the file to DVD?

I think what I'm really tring to ask is:

What can I do to get the audio insync on the .avi file when converting to MPEG 2? Can I use TMPGEnc Plus to do this?

    Hi there,

Well you are right, even with the latest version of ConvertXtoDVD, there are still a few Out Of Sync issues.

VSO are aware of the problem (I have a bug report open with them on that).

For now, here's a temp solution that worked pretty good for me !
