I am trying to play AVI files from cd on my xbox, with the help of slayers evox, when it plays I get sound and a flashing blue screen, If I go to the video section. I can see the film in small size, but when ever I try to play it full screen, i get a blue flashing screen, any ideas

the ones i have tried are just cd-r like i said it plays them in the small screen, but not full, so i assume that cd-r should work

Well the only thing I can think of is that you have your screen calibrated to that size. Goto the main screen of your media player and then to settings...now fiddle with the screen calibrations.

Oh yeah, and if the small screen is in the bottom left side of your tv...try pushing either the back button or the 'B' button. That sometimes shrinks your screen too.

Tried all that and I keep getting a blue scrren that flash's if i go to settings then screen I can watch the avi on a screen half the size of the TV with all the menus around it. So the file workl and the xbox reads it, but I can't get it on full screen, CD-r games work on my xbox, aswell as CDrw and DVD-, DVD+

only thing i can think of is to try re-calibrating the screen sizes. iam running 2.4 myself and i have watched many avi's from a cd-rw in the past and they work fine straight away
