avi files to cd or dvd

    i would like to know if i could put my avi files stright on to a cd without encoding them or a dvd i using nero 6 at moment could someone please tell me how to do this thanks

    You cannot put an AVI file direct onto CD because it won't play anywhere but on the computer, unless you have a DVD player which can play AVI CD's. If you want to just put it on a CD, just drag and drop. Works for me on xp. Than write to CD.
