hey, i was wondering whats the best software to copy multiple avi files to a dvdr to playback on a divx dvd player? thank you
maxi, You don't need any special software to do this. Just burn the avi files to a blank DVD as a plain data disc. If your hardware player can play divx files, then it will show you a menu with the filenames, a bit like windows explorer, and you can select what to play with your menu keys on the remote. HANDY TIPS (1) If you want the files to sit in a certian order (if they're episodes of a series, for example) then you should make sure that they are alphabetically ordered or, better still, begin each filename with 1, 2, 3 etc. (2) The display on your hardware DVD player may well only show you the first 8 characters of the filename - make sure that they are named such that you will be able to identify them with the first 8 characters, S1x01-Numb3rs S1x02-Numb3rs *good* Numb3rs-Series1-Episode1 Numb3rs-Series1-Episode2 *bad*
