I've used AVI2DVD with great success on single .avi files, but when I try to combine files in a single DVD, I get the msg 'Cannot join files: Video resolution is different'. I've posted this in the AVI2DVD forum without response (I don't think it's being supported anymore). If you've solved this problem, please tell me how. Thanks.

This can be a pig.. You need to open each file in something like gspot and look at the pixel numbers. Then an easy tool to change one to the other is avidemux. You don't have to change both files.. I would reduce the size of the larger xxx X xxx number to match the smaller one. then they will join..

I don't know how some idiots manage to rip a dvd into 3 avi's with a different resolution for each part, but it is becoming more and more common..

pal dvd is usually 720x576 if that helps any.

Thanks. I've downloaded Avidemux2, and will give it a try. Just not sure how to use it yet...
