.AVI MOVIE downloaded but viewing is bad after

    after i burn .avi movie i.e. spiderman etc from the net i try to burn on dvd using wincreator software which allows me to do chapters etc but this format .avi then comes out on dvd i/2 the height as before really shrunk on me? also nomatter what type of movie .avi .mpg etc i never can get my closed captions subtitles to work howcome? any ideas let me know thx david

    If your movies are received in an .avi format and you're trying to burn them to DVD, the the best way to do that is to use avi2dvd to do the conversion with. You'll like the results and it's pretty easy to do.

    Here you can find: avi2dvd, a guide on use, and decrypter to burn the iso created to disk.

    thanks what types of software can i use to burn from or can i clone from my .mpg or .avi file to disk? or should i use the decrypter and what do initials iso stand for again my mind is blank as per usual... thanks for help david
