    Hi guys,

Ive got an AVI movie that has 2 langues. To change between them I have to open the movie in 'Movie Player Classic'. Once it's open, I right click on the screen, select audio and then choose the other language from the list. Under the audio section, the movie originally opens under "Movie1.avi/Stream 01", which is in Spanish. To hear it in English, I have to change it to "Movie1.avi/Stream 02", and then its english.

What I want to do is convert the movie into an MPEG with only the English audio, or I guess 'Stream 02'. I keep trying using TMPGenc and other programs, but keep getting a movie with only the Spanish language.

How can I extract the english stream only, say into a .mp2 or .mpa file (using some sort of de-multiplexing tool I suppose) ??

Ive been trying all day guys, and an seriously fed up lol Any help would be MUCH appreciated!

    Thanx

I would Suggest useing a Tool called "AVI-Mux v0.4" to de-Mux the audio stream you want to keep and then use that audio file as your audio source in your Mpeg encoder...
You have to use this Particular version because the other versions do not let you de-mux Audio Streams only mux them so if you have Problems with findling that version let me Know by PM with your Email address and I"ll send it to you....

    Cheers
