Well I have a anime thats AVI with mp3 audio, and I want to make it mpeg2 with ac3 audio. The reason that I want to make it ac3 cuz it is alot smaller than Linear PCM Audio witch means better bitrate for vidz and ac3 is officialy dvd standard unlike MP2 audio thats small but some old DVD player won't play....So its an alternative you see.

TMPGEnc Plus doen't not support audio to be outputed to ac3 that sucks....

    What Im doing to convert.
a.Using Tmpgenc to encode avi to mpeg2 standard
b.Using Ulead dvd Workshop 2 to create Menu's motion and ect...
c.Hopefully have a working iso with ac3 audio to burn off.

So has any one tried this if so point the fingure the right way and not at me!!!!

    Open the video in virtualdub.
    Select audio, full processing.
    Select File, save .wav
Open the .wav in Ffmpeggui, and transcode to AC3, 48khz
Use the .ac3 (if possible) in Ulead.

Yes I been using ffmpeggui03c to convert audio files its way easier than besweet. And no Workshop doesn't allow ac3 input. But that does't matter Im testing out DVD-lab pro to see if I can work with it.

Actually "Ulead DVD Workshop 2.0" Does support Dolby AC3 as Source Files as I have used it many Times to create DVD"s with AC3...

That is actually why DVD Workshop costs allmost $500 is because of the AC3 support.....
