The mentioned programis supposed to mux untill 5 audio streams in a Divx movie and also to insert SRT subtitles.
Regarding the audio I haven't tried.
    Regarding the subtitles is bullshit.
    It doesn't do it.
It was too good to be true............

Try this friendly user program to backup DVd2DivX and next time you post, refrain yourself for speaking any [bold]foul[/bold] lanquage!

Use DivX 5.02 codec and encode a short dvd movie. if you encounter audio sync playback problems, switch to MPEG4 DivX 3.11alpha.
Subtitles are a waste of time (my opinion).

    Hi there shoey

Regarding the subtitles using DVD2SVCD,I know how to do it(add external subtitle). But what happens is that they don't look very nice so what I do is a resize them to 75 or 80% and use tha box around the letters in the setting of 8 or 9 so they look visible all right. And the box has still got some transparency.

That is the reason why I was looking for a program to burn decent looking subtitles in the DivX and then encode these DivX with them subs with the DVD2SVCD.Then I wouldn't have to use the rip subtitle option/Add external subtitle option.

What happenned between me and the guy from AVIMux GUI was a miscomunication. He thought I just wanted to play the movies with subtitles......And the vobsub 2.23 does it allright.

The Vidomi,I tried also. But As I told you I wanted to burn subtitles(SRT,SSa,etc..)in some ready DivX files. Not making a Divx from some DVD.But when I need to do it I will have a go in this software

The only program I found out that does it is the virtualdub, but, there is a bad thing about it.We have to compress the video DivX again. That was lowering the quality of the Divx, that in the conversion to SVCD already looses quality.
So I decided to stay with the subtitles in the black box,set at 8 /9 or 10 - 75/85%,from the DVD2SVCD.

There is a new DVD2SVCD version tha allows us to set the font type and size. But it is going to take a while untill we get subtitles like the ones from the VobSub.

Regarding the subtitles,I understand that for a english speaking person,it is a waste of time to have english subtitles in the film. But suppose you get some French movie ?or Spanish?
I am Brazilian, and I have no problem in understanding the films.I even correct some subtitles...
I speak and write portuguese/french/spanish and english. And a little of italian.I had to stop studing when I got sacked from the last hotel I worked for.
But my relatives and most of the brazilians can't watch an english spoken film without the subtitles...

And I know this isn't the forum for this question but, would you know how, using Virtualdub,to burn the subtitles in the DivX with no loss of quality ?Or the minimum loss ?

And I am thinking about buying a GeForce 4 MX 440 Tv out.Would you know if the DivXs would look all right in the telly ?

    Thanks a lot

    And

    But
