    Hi,

I've been using avi.NET (program to convert dvd to avi for standalone dvd players) for a while now, without problem...
BUT recently I switched to a different pc, and now it crashes at the point where it says "getting movie information" - it actually reboots my pc! I can convert mpg files without problem - only vobs give this error.

Since I can convert mpg files without problems I assume I have everything needed for the program to work. The vobs are not encrypted - I tested the files on my old pc (which has the same OS) and on that the vobs convert fine (even though its a slower pc).

I'm really desperate to get the program to work on the newer pc.
If anybody has any suggestions please let me know

    It's working again!

Seems like it was my video card drivers that needed an update - nothing was wrong with avi.NET

btw. for everyone trying to convert dvds to xvid or divx and play it on a standalone dvd player, avi.NET is brilliant! www.clonead.co.uk
