avi.NET Volume

    Does anyone know if it is possible to increase the volume in avi.NET I find the files it makes are too soft and i have to turn my speakers upto their Maximum

    The volume *IS* already increased if you are converting the audio to the default MP3. It goes through a 'normalize' process which will increase the volume as high as it can without causing any clipping, if it bumped it any more the audio would start getting destroyed.

    The volume may well be quite low if left as AC3. AC3 has much more range and as such can appear quite low in volume.

    I actually find its louder if i leave it with original AC3,Is there any disadvantage to doing that?

    only the size of the file when you get done. AC3 takes up a little more space. I have played many files encoded with "original AC3" on my stand-alone DVD/DivX player, and they sound fine.
