hey I have a movie file that is split into two pieces that are about 700 megs each and I would like to put them together into one bigger file. I found a link to a tutorial on the forum but the link was dead so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Use Virtualdub.

    1) Open the first half via the "file" menu "open video file"
    2) Under the "video" menu select "direct stream copy"
    3) under the "audio" menu select "direct stream copy" (this should be the default)
    4) Select "file" menu "append avi segment"
    5) Select the second half file
    6) Select "file" menu, "save as AVI", specify th enew file name and start it up.

It should be a pretty quick process.

    Good luck
