AVI problems

    i have an AVI movie, how do i successfully convert this file to DVD. my problem is when it gets to the part after the encoding, it does say encoding successful it says job not done and to check the log file for the errors, if anyone can help me out with this that would be awesome, it doesnt appear to give an exact error in the log file so i dont know what to do... thanks
