Hello all. This is my first post on this forum and I hope that I am posting this question in the correct section. If not move it wherever it needs to be. With that said.... I have been using AVI2DVD to make myself some compilation DVDs from AVIs. This has been working very well until the last AVIs that I have run into. The problem is that in order to burn the 3 avi files to the DVD they first have to be merged into a single avi. What is going wrong is that 2 of the avi are at one resolution and there is a loner that is not. What would be a good proggie to use in order to fix this problem. Make all of the avi come in at the same resolution so that I may merge them and then make my DVD. Any help is greatly appreciated and welcome. BTW nice forums you guys have here. Lots of info and I am going to be days going through all the cool stuff.
Read better http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/ , expecially http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/virtualdub_join_avi.cfm . No, you cannot keep, in VirtualDub, Video set at Direct Stream Copy and modify the video. You can only join AVI having the same resolution (as it usually is, when you have part1 and part2 of the same movie).
Ok joining the files I know how to do. What I want to do is resize the one that is of a different size so that I can join it. Is VirtualDub able to do this and if so how? I just downloaded the program and am going to play around with it but any quick advice would be helpful.
Never mind I figured it out just needed some time to play with it is all. Thx for pointing me to the correct proggie.
