I dont know, but if someone can tell me what program I need to convert AVI to BIN/CUE, then you should be able to use that program to convert BIN/CUE to AVI.
bin/cue is just an image format, like iso and nrg. any burning app like nero can create image files. If you use something like nero, it only makes nrg image formats. So then use ISOpen or ISO Buster to convert that image to bin.cue format
Yea, but how do I make it playable on a regular DVD player. It has to be in a VCD or SVCD format, and then converting it to bin/cue right? Cuz when I open up a bin/cue in ISObuster it shows all these different folders...
if you want to burn a CD with video files to play on a DVD player as a VCD or SVCD, you create a VideoCD, not an image file. check the guides section here, there are many different ways to create VCDs
Well, there are some Videos that ive seen that are in BIN/CUE format. And I can play them with VLC media player on my computer, and when I burn the image, and I can view it on my DVD player.
if you download a bin/cue file that is an image of an actualy VCD or SVCD, it should play in your DVD player if it supports video CDs. Other than that I'm not quite sure what you're asking...
Ok, I can eaisly burn anything into an image. The hard part is making it to where it plays on a standard DVD player..... Ive already tried burning this AVI to a BIN/CUE, and its the same as burning it as data.
Exactly the point that everyone is trying to make. You don't want a BIN/CUE since that is just a CD image of whatever you have. What you want is to convert to (S)VCD, whether a BIN/CUE or not.
precisely. Get this whole bin/cue stuff out of your head. You need to focus on converting your AVI to a VCD or SVCD. Like I said above, check out the guides section here for information on how to convert your video file to VCD to play in your DVD player...
