I have some videos on avi. (dont think anything dirty now lol) and i want to put them onto dvd format. It ried it myself. made chapters and lal. ive sued a few different programs. Right now im using latest nero. The problem is it has subtitles that arent programe dinto the avi so they are actually on the video tiself. Why si that a problem you say. because it seems to crop my videos completely on all corners. top left right and bottom.. The bottom is cutting off most of the subtitles and left and right margins as well. is their a way to make it so it wont crop the screen at all or am I just screwed because its a problem with the original avi file. Note i can play it on the computer just fine with non of those problems. Yet on my t.v it actually has any movie file cropped down which is irritating and just unwatchable if its a subtitled film (when i myself cant move the subtitles)

    A few things to share:

First, make sure you have all the necessary codecs.

Second, try use a different encoder (e.g. ConvertXToDVD) to see if the problem persists.

Third, try encode with e.g. WinAvi which lets you adjust the aspect ratio manually.

    Good luck!
