Hello everyone ... I've been using the free VSO Divx to DVD converter to change my mpg and avi into dvd's.... The last few weeks I havent been able to convert any it doesnt come up with an error just stops converting "like it hasnt even started" ... I then obtained a copy of the full version and that justs locks up during convertion and stops... any suggestions?

    Hi there,

I am very pleased with VSO DivxToDVD v1.99.24 (Latest)

Are you having issues with all the files, or specific ones ?

    Look in C:\Program Files\VSO\DivxToDVD\DivxToDVD.log

is there anything in there that can tell you what's going on ?

    Hi there,

You are using the Freeware Preview version.

I would suggest trying the latest v1.99.24 Shareware version, to see if it will convert your file.

If this version doesn't do it, there maybe someone wrong with THIS specific file.

Lots of work has been put in DivxToDVD since that preview version.

Very soon, a major release will be coming out, to fix a whole bunch of problems with v1.99.24 !

From the Error log it seems to suggest that your AVI File has Corrupted Frames in it and that is why the Program is Chokeing....

If you Run the File through Virtual-Dub"s "Scan Frames For errors" feature it will tell you how many and what Frames are Corrupted and Can also Mask those Bad Frames and Save to a New File that Might be encodeable....
