I have an AVI file and I have tried to burn a DVD three times now from Nero. Every time the disk comes out with the sound about 3 seconds off.

    The AVI file seems OK.

    Any help?

this is a common problem that many users are having (including me). Unfortunately, there is no easy way to fix it yet. If you do a search through these posts, you will find complicated (in my opinion) ways to fix this issue. Good luck.

Yeah... it seems the only way to fix the problem is re-encode the AVI file to DVD with some other program first - not nero vision. =(

This is disappointing to me because sometimes even when I recode the avi with VSO's ConvertXtoDVD - nero vision still screws it up every now and then.

I wish there was a good alternative to Nero Vision - something with a good menu editing GUI and transcoding features. Anyone have any ideas?
