avi to dvd where?

hello after been away from home for nearly a year ive returned to find things have changed a little

basicly before i left i was using the program avi to dvd (rather then avi 2 dvd) this was a ver simple program that produced a file that could then be made into an image with shrink now ive tried avi 2 dvd but it all seems a litle complicated and would apreciate if any of you experts could find me the program im looking for as it doesnt apear to be here any more

thanks for the info this is similar but not exactly the same program i used before

it told me to download an avi decoder first where as the program i used to use this wasnt necisary the option of weather i want to go for dvd or vcd or what ever is also confusing if i choose dvd can i then run what it comes out with through shrink

i guess if theres a program with the same name its going to be hard to find the program i used to use and ile have to learn to use the avi decoder

if anyone can find the program im looking for that would still be great it used to be the recomenderd program of choice on afterdawn and had a guide with it

maybe this was an earlier version of the same avi to dvd but i didnt need a decoder before im guessing it must of come with one

But you must download and install the codec for .avi file,except that,any program can't do the conversion.
