avi to dvd

    i have dvd santa and converted my avi to dvd and then bured it using dvd santa but all i get is sound and a green screen anyone help

    Try encode again with DVDSanta without burning and check the results. If things are o.k., then burn with e.g. Nero. DVDSanta is not that good at burning.

    maby the avi file is no good. do you have the orignal disk? you might try converting it again

    hi hoosier76, if the avi file can be played without any problem, there may be no proper codec on your PC. If so, I'm afraid you may have to install some codec (such as K_lite).
    Btw, if I were you, I would also try winavi video converter which can convert avi to dvd perfectly. You may learn some more details from http://www.winavi.com/avi-to-dvd.htm

    i usually burn all aXXo dvd movies with nero vision 3 but just yesturday i tried to burn both firewall and When a stranger calls and im getting problems...nero burns the dvd properly but when watching it in my dvd player it get screwed up right at the end.....would like some help on this...and suggesting for other ways to burn avi to DVD aside from Nero

    Can someone provide me with some help on this??

    convert AVI to DVD,i also like WinAVI.
    After you try it,you can know how about it.
    And make a good burn,you need a good conversion first. :)
