Hi, need some software for converting avi to dvd that doesnt throw the lip sync out when ive burned it and played back on a dvd player.. Using vso avi to dixv at the moment and amtoo avi convertor, burning with nero/amtoo avi convertor. Using the conversion software ive mentioned to convert, then running thro shrink to put files together then burning. Someone told me to use Super avi convertor and or software called decompress...can anyone send me a link, cannot find them anywhere. Thanx.

All you need is VSO's ConvertXtoDVD. It is a great program, and the conversion engine is unparalled.

You can even make a simple menu.

I'm interested in any other way to convert AVI with divX Codec to MPEG so I can then use this MPEG to add to DVD Architect. At the moment I convert AVI's with VSO ConvertXtoDVD and take the mpeg out of the Video_TS folder and add that to dvd architect with my own menu and backing sound (still haven't got to grips with making a video intro to the menu, lol).

Or is there an easier way of doing this as when I take the mpeg out of VSO ConvertXtoDVD it only appears to play 41-43mins of any avi whether the AVI lasts 45mins or 2hrs, I'm sure it's because I've taken it out of the Video_TS folder that it only runs that length of time.

    Regards
