I have two files opened with WinRar that gave me:
    CD1-Avi videoclip
    CD2-Avi videoclip

I also have two unopened SFV files (one for each videoclip). How do I handle these in order to burn a DVDR? Do I have to open the SFV files, encode the videoclips, etc? Thanks.

My question really is, do I treat these files same as bin/cue files? In other words, unWar my first WinRar file and my last, which is SVF? Then use Alcohol, then encode or author, whatever that may be? This is the first time I have had this kind of files

    Avi videoclip CD1, SVF
    Avi videoclip CD2, SVF

you have 2 sets of avi files
load them both in together into vso's dvixtodvd, they will be joined into 1 image = ts folder
then burn the ts folder onto dvd disk with clonedvd2,or an app' that will burn ts folders outright

forget about the sfv files, there are purely a checksafe when downloading and mean nothing to the finished avi(basically they insure the file is downloaded properly)

    job done
