I am looking for an approximation regarding converting avi's to mpeg's. I am using Pinnacle Studio 8 and have captured a lot of analog video. Be default it captures to avi format. When I make a movie and burn it to VCD, what would the compression ratio be? In simple terms, if I have a 1 gig avi file, how large of an mpeg would that create if I did not edit it down at all and just converted it?
