I have been using Tmpgenc for a few years now to convert AVI to DVD, but had problems with comp and had to format drive. Now re-installed Tmpgenc and having problems. When I try to encode a avi file it just comes up with a message saying error un-supported file. I know the file is fine as tested on another computer. SO I have changed enviromental setting so as direct show is proirity '1', and this still has not helped. Can any one please help, may be need a new codec pack???
    Not sure...
    Cheers

You'll need a codec or two.
Get Gspot, open the file, see what codecs it needs for video and audio, download and install them.
