I have a few files with anime cartoons in Avi format..but I need to change them to mpeg so I can them burn em to vcd..any program solutions I could be looking at? Plus any program I could cut out some Avi sences..due to the cartoon lasting over the 74 mins..I know if I change it to Mpeg I could use TMPGEnc to cut/edit parts, thanks people

Ok again I'm sorry if i'm annoying here..ok there is a part of the Avi which is messed up..while encoding it to an mpeg1 using the required programs (d/l from afterdawn) the encoding stopped due to a problem with the avi..so now i need a program which allows me to edit a tiny part of my Avi file.....any suggestions..this is final i promise!
VirtualDub. Cut the AVI in two parts -- one just before the error frame, one after the error frame. Then join these later. For cutting, you find the guides from article page.
