   How do I render an avi file to mpeg2 in Vegas 4? I can't seem to find any reference to it in the manual? I am told that it is better to let Vegas do it than a DVD authoring programme. Thanks for any replies.

   Try sticking it thru DVD Architect instead
   
   It'll have problems if it's a XviD.avi file though (same as Vegas 4)
