    Hey Guys,
I got a problem. When I try to convert some (doesn't happen with all avi's) avi's to mpg, the mpg file does not have any audio when i open with windows media player. However when i open with powerdvd it has the audio. Also if i burn it as a vcd and play it back on the dvd player connected to the tv the file has no audio. Does anyone know why, and how i can fix this?
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks

Open the AVI file with AVICodec.... what does the Audio line say? Do the same for the MPEG file... what does that say?

How are you converting to MPEG?

I tried avicodec, it says i need some codecs that i have installed... When i open the file with the project wizard the file is both in the video and audio source file box. The file i'm trying now asan avi is like 700mb. But when the encoding is done to mpg the file is like 500mb and the audio is missing. I must have the correct codecs cuz i can play it with powerdvd?
