I have looked through the guides on this site,(avi to dvdr) but my computer is OSX...does it still apply because i've never heard of any of those programs and all the pictures are of windows

I'm completely lost...I have Toast 6, DVD2OneX and my avi files...I tried to burn it in the video section of Toast but it is too big...DVD2OneX won't let me select an avi file to compres it though...on top of that I don't know if I'm supposed to try to burn it in the "video" section or not

can some help me out or send me in the right direction...I read somewhere that I'm supposed to save it as disc image and then mount it but I don't even know what that stuff means...i tried to do it but of course failed since I had no idea what I was doing...

finally, do i need to convert it to mpeg as well using a different program?? what program should I download or can i use one i already have? any help would be greatly appreciated...

My suggestion is to go to http://www.nero.com download free trial version when you have done this just drag AVI file into Nero and burn, it will do any required conversion.
