What software can encode a AVI movie to a single SVCD VCD or KVCD CD-R? Most software split avi files in 2 CD-R's

    thanks

Are you trying to play this on a dvd player or computer?
If you want to get this all on one disc get some blank dvds and some more software.

DVD Flick will encode the movie to an iso image for you to watch on stand alone dvd players.

Programs to pay for are XILISOFT & DVDFAB PLATIUM. Both are good at converting the avi file to a video folder or iso image that you can burn to your disc.

To burn it to your disc after you have converted it get ImgBurn, free and works well.

You can trim the AVI using Virtualdub to avoid re-compression.

Another unfavorable alternative would be to re-compress the AVI file using AVIRecomp. Of course, with this there will be parallel quality loss.
