AVI to SVCD - No Audio at all

    I encoding Avi to Svcd, everything looks OK, but there is no sound at all!
    Please help me fixing this problem!
    PLEASE!!!

    It's probably AC3, right? Make sure you've got all proper audio codecs installed first.

    Also, don't use TMPG, use another encoder.

    I tried Main Concept.it looks nice but it couldn't cut the film properly. while mpgenc cuts it to 2 cd's, main concept makes it 3.
    Can you recomend me any encoder?

    Just adjust the bitrate so you get whatever number of CD's that you want. It doesn't really matter what encoder you're using.

    Use a bitrate calculator (like DV Tool) to figure it out.
