Whats a good converting program cause i use winavi 8.0 and everytime i convert an avi file and then burn it.Well it allways has some type of error in it like for example like it hangs during the movie like it will freeze up and i thought maybe it was a bad burn on the disk but i checked it and the results showed it was a good burn and i even tried burning the movie again 2 more times and same thing so is there a program that will work perfectly for me converting avi to vob

    Eric1987,
Did you get the trouble in burning or converting with winavi video converter? And detail error information?

Btw, as I know, winavi video converter isn't very good at burn, though its conversion is very perfect.

    Hi,

Skiping and freezing are mostly due to burned too fast and/or the use of low quality media.

    100% Successfully Burned

    doesn't mean a quality burn.

Some drives supports PiPo Scanning (Quality Check) and 2nd class media and down will usually return 0% quality, it get's to areas where the disk can barelly be read.

Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden, Some TDK/Sony are 1st class media.

Regardless of the avi to dvd software used, those issues are mostly due to a burning issue and not a conversion issue.
