Hello all, hope u can help me. I´ve got some uncompressed avi`s (4 min / 2 Gigs) I want to keep the files in my pc and make a dvd from them eventually. The problem is, i usually encode with TMPGENC but 90hrs for a 4min clip is not an option, i´ve tried several encoders and at the best the quality is none. So i decided to encode to xvid, kinda new on it. My source is 29.97Frames, NTSC, interlaced The audio is OK, but the video seems slow motion, ive tried different configurations according to tips here, 9down, etc, but i still get the same problem. Ive made some test keeping the frame rate, changing it, and still the same. Any help?? Thanks a lot
Try GordianKnot http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/gordian_knot.cfm I use it with XviD, and it allows you to open AVI as its source... Regards
Probably becuase your computer isnt fast enough to play the xvid. IM not sure but I think theres HDXVID and you need a minimum of 2.5ghz to play them
