avi too big for CD

    The problem is: the avi I have is too big according to Nero 6 (legit version).. Usually if the file is over 700mb Nero asks to finalize it and it works fine but I have one now that is around 713 and Nero pops the CD out and says that the CD is not big enough. I read in another thread of the same topic someone mentioning to put it thru DvdShrink.. but I don't know how to open an avi file in DvdShrink.. Is this the program I should be using to compress the file further or to chop off the ends of the movie to make it a bit smaller? or should I use a different program?

    hi you can buy 800mb CD and adjust settings in nero to burn
