Hey! I'm new to this D/L thing, so please bear with me! How do I get the avi video to play with its srt subs? I have VLC, Realplayer, WMP, WinDVD, Nero6, Directvobsub and just got DVDlab ( so dont know how to use it yet!).
Hi You'll have to re-author the film. I suppose you have the srt sub on a separate file... You can use The Film Machine for the process and Cinema Craft Encoder for the encoding. The Film Machine is very user friendly and you even get a user guide on their official site.
@calamityk Here is an easy way to put subtitles with Winavi. Note that VobSub is free, and once you install it on your computer, you don't need to do anything else with it(unless you want to change the default settings!)All you have to do is name the subtitle file like the movie and put it in the same directory. http://www.dvd-guides.com/content/view/58/59/

I've given it a go, but cant get the cinema bit downloaded, tried a few times, but no joy! managing to get my head round dvdlab, tho film machine seems better in that it does it has a built in encoder (if i understood it right!)Thanks for the advice anyway!
