Hey guys, I'm sure this question has probably been asked a million times, and I know everyone will have a different answers, but I'm looking for some good honest feedback on Authoring software. Looking to convert XviD and occasionally SVCDs to DVD - I've been using NeroVision as came with Nero 6 and 7, but I'm starting to wonder how good this software rates. Basically, I want a reasonable quality encoder - but with greater flexibity to create Menus (ie, be able to have a different background for each screen, have a "Play Feature" icon separate to the chapters list, be able to choose different icons for the arrows etc etc). Also keen to have an effective Chapter Detector build in as well. If anyone can recommend any software (either the one program, or a combination) that can do these better than Nero (and dont cost a fortune, the cheaper the better) - It'd be greatly appreciated.
