I have an avi file (XviD) and its below 700mb, and when i drag it into Ulead....the files shows up as 4.8GB....how can i reduce the size of the avi or how can i make it fit onto a dvd using ulead
Reducing the size of the avi won't make any difference (other than lowering the quality) as its size is completely irrelevant. What matters is the input files length (run time) and the output files average bitrate, plus some overhead. If you want the output to be smaller, set the combined audio/video bitrate lower. If Ulead won't let you then use an app that does.
