I'm trying to turn some files I downloaded to DVD files so I can burn it onto a DVD. I downloaded dvi2DVD and used this guide: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/avi_to_dvd_avi2dvd.cfm I did all the steps except I unticked the 'make iso' box so I could burn with nero the way I normally do. Except when I do everything and click next about 5 seconds will pass and I get an error window saying "Can't join files: Video compression formats differ: xvid<->Xvid.
Use this and then use Nero. http://dl.afterdawn.com/vsoDivxToDVD_setup_v0.5.2b.exe Import the file(s) (AVI, MPEG, VOB) Output (standard DVD file format) to a folder on the HDD. Set 'Aspect' to 4:3 (if you have a regular tv) Set 'Standard' to NTSC (if you live in North America)
