Im trying to convert avi films to dvd. i have succesfully done this but cannot get any audio.if it is a case of getting the right codec then how does avi2dvd get lame mp3 codecs which the avi film requires and are these codecs installed in the same directory as avi2dvd files.Or is there a site that lets you know how to use codecs for different types films. thanks
First, you may try encode with another program (e.g. VSO): http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/vso_divxtodvd_free.cfm If it's indeed a codec problem, try download and install K-Lite Codec Pack (full or mega version): http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm Good luck!
Same problem here with Audio. I have tried everything. I was using Aare AVI to VCD but it was only working on some file. NOw it is not working on any files. So I downloaded TMPEnc and gave it a try. Same problem, no sound. The AVI files play fine on my system. I have tried to limit the number of Codecs I install. But could I be missing some?
