I'm trying to burn an MKV file to DVD using AVI2DVD. The process is unsuccessful, and I get an error in the BeSweet log that says: Error 57: Error opening "D:\Avi2dvd_temp\tempsox.wav". Quiting... I watch the folder as the program is running and a wav file is produced (extracted_audio.wav), but after the process fails there's nothing there. Not sure if BeSweet is looking for the wrong file name or what.

You can use professional AVI to DVD Burner to burn avi video edited by ddp. Maybe the tutorial can help you
