Hi Everyone, I downloaded and installed the latest version of AVI2DVD . And when I loaded a .avi movie file, AVI2DVD showed no File information for the .avi . The following quote is from the How to convert AVI files (DivX, XviD etc.) to DVD with Avi2DVD guide....... "Now a bunch of information will come up. Under File information you will get details on the framerate (fps), Duration and Resolution." Could anyone have any ideas on why AVI2DVD isn't showing File information for my .avi ? I didn't proceed any farther with AVI2DVD because I was uncertain if it would encode properly if it couldn't read the file information . Thanks.
In it's day Avi2DVD was a good program, unfortunately it hasn't been updated in a while and remains problematic for some. Give this free app a shot if you want the benefits of HCenc encoder for long movies. AVStoDVD
