I am tring to convert a avi file to dvd.I also have a srt subtitle file to add to the avi. I have followed the guide on here of how to encode it and add the subtitle using avi2dvd. It generates the iso which i then burn but the subtitles have not appeared on the dvd.
Anyone any idea where i'm going wrong?

Did you use best profile settings?
    You use subtitle 1 button?

You can also use DVD Decrypter or ImgBurn to burn ISO-image or use Nero to burn DVD files to DVD.

Does that image work fine if you mount it to virtual cd drive?

When you have that .iso (image file) it should already have subtitles... so you only need to burn it.
You can use many program to burn .iso files (like DVD Decrypter, ImgBurn and Nero)

But thats the problem i'm having, i've got an avi file and an srt file, which is the subtitles file.

When i use avi2dvd to convert the avi to an iso the subtiltes don't appear on the iso eve though i have added the srt file on avi2dvd.

The iso burns fine with dvd decrypter but there are no subtitles

Not sure does that aplication need it, but do you have VobSub or ffdshow installed?

Also you can try to convert it to dvd-files (video_ts) and not .iso-image.

Do you use latest beta, or stable version?
