avi2dvd with cce

I want to convert a divx file to dvd. i have preveisy done this with dvd santa and was not really satified with the quality. i now have avi2dvd with cce i hear this is a lot better way to go. know i need help on how to use it. i am sure i can figure most of it out but there are a few things i need help with like, the aspect ratio,number of passes with cce and the option sub 1,2,3 character set any help will be great thanks
