    Hiya

My problem is that ive got 3 dls in azureuz that are at 99.9% ive been dl them for about a month and the last 2 weeks they have been at 99.9%. One file is 4.36gb and ive dld 4.41 so that should be complete but it just stoped at 99.9%.
These are kinda rare stuff and seeders come and go but something must be wrong when ive dld more than the filez actual size.

Its very annoying since the file should be complete.
If anyone have any explanation for this or some help i would be most greatful, im just a poor guy who wants to watch some transformers episodes :)

Here's the problem...You say the seeds are rare, correct? When you are downloading, you are grabbing whatever peices are most available, so you will get them quickly. Once you are only missing 2 or 3 peices, you have to wait around for someone with these last peices...The best way to tell if you have any chance at all of completing is looking at the copies seen bar, if it is less than one, you can't at the moment. I do think it is pretty bad to wait 2 weeks, but how many seeds and peers are there on usually??

You could also try this below, this is another reason why you get stuck on 99.8%
Do any of you have this problem when downloading a file and you find you are uploading, but not downloading and you get stuck at 99.8% ???

Below you will find what causes this and a guide on how to avoid it.

When you create a torrent file of files within a folder an extra file maybe added to your torrent called:

    thumbs.db

This file can cause the problem of people getting stuck at 99% on there download.

Solution, delete the file before you create the torrent, or to disable it being created in the first place (below).

The 99% problem can occur when you are downloading a torrent, or when you try to re-seed your client tells you that you only have 99% of the file.

Now how to stop it from being created in the first place, only applicable to Windows XP.

Windows XP, by default, shows the thumbnails view of certain folders, whether you want it to or not. Even if you choose Details (or some other view) as your default by going to Tools -> Folder Options -> View tab and click Apply to All Folders, Explorer may still revert back to the clumsy Thumbnails view. It does this for any folder in which it finds the THUMBS.DB file; naturally, if you delete this file, it won't happen again.

The problem is that Windows seems to repeatedly recreate the THUMBS.DB file automatically. Here's how to stop this from happening:

In Explorer, go to Tools -> Folder Options or open the Folder Options icon in the Control Panel.
Choose the View tab, and turn off the Do not cache thumbnails option.

    Click Ok.

You can also change this setting in the Registry:

    Open the Registry Editor (regedit.exe).
    Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced.
Double-click the Disable Thumbnail Cache value, or go to Edit -> New -> DWORD value to create a new value by that name.
    Enter 1 for its value.
    Click Ok and close the Registry Editor when you're done;
you'll have to log off and then log back on for this to take effect.

BlueShark: You could more simply just choose not to download that file (In Azureus) instead, correct? I have noticed these files also, and if I get hung up on one of them I just quit the download...When it comes down to the wire like that I have usually UL over twice as much as the file size.
