I've a DVD decrypted by using DVD decrypter. Can I now use AOA audio extractor to convert VOB files to MP3? I tried add files and select Video_TS but nothing shown, so I tried select files of type as : all files, the the files came listed. This time when I selected the VTS 03_01, it shown me : Fail to open the file C:\Documents and Settings\A10\Desktop|????|Video_TS\VTS_03_1.VOB. Is it that I've to use a AOA ripper b4 using AOA audio extractor? Thank you
If the disk can be successfully ripped using DVD Decrypter, then simply dragging the required VOB file onto the top pane of AOA should work ok. There is the possibility that DVD Decrypter (an old program) is not properly ripping the movie. Another problem in simply ripping the whole movie is that the VOB files contain all the audio - and there is no way (AFAIK) that AOA can choose between an English or Spanish, etc stream. You may not get what you expect. An option is to use 'DVDFab HD Decrypter' to rip the movie and retry AOA. http://www.videohelp.com/tools/DVDFab_Decrypter Another option using DVD Decrypter is to select IFO mode and choose 'splitting by chapter', then select the video and the required audio stream and use 'Direct Stream Copy' to save each chapter, then drag them onto AOA and convert to mp3.
