    Hey
    One thing I have learned about computers is that it’s always the last thing you try. When I bought the new burner it never occurred to me that changing that flat cord that leads from the burner to the mother broad. I guess those cords lose their vitality over time. You may want to add that to your list of suggestions after someone has tried everything. Any way, I’m back in business.

    That's why uncabling/uninstalling/recabling was suggested in the other thread. Most of the time if it's a cable pinch or flaw, there's enough movement in the uncabling process to allow it to work again.
