Hey One thing I have learned about computers is that it’s always the last thing you try. When I bought the new burner it never occurred to me that changing that flat cord that leads from the burner to the mother broad. I guess those cords lose their vitality over time. That's why uncabling/uninstalling/recabling was suggested in the other thread. Most of the time if it's a cable pinch or flaw, there's enough movement in the uncabling process to allow it to work again.
