I have successfully backed-up 5 or 6 of my BR movies onto HDD for streaming to PS3 and they work great. The easiest method is pulling straight from BR disc using tsmuxer (assuming I don't have to convert audio) then renaming to .mpg. I've come across 2 titles now which my sony reader BDU-x10s fails to read all the way through. I've tried the above mentioned as well as straight copy to HDD and they always fail at the same point partially through the process as if it's a bad disk. But the disks were brand new. Using AnyDVD HD rip to disk is the same. I've read posts suggesting others were able to back-up these titles. Movies will play all the way through using POWER DVD. Any thoughts as to what it could be would be appriciated.

Update....If I play the moive normally with Power DVD it works fine but if I play the m2ts file directly from the BD disc it also abruptly terminates at about 1 hr into the movie. Is this some kind of copyright protection?

Another update.....Updated firmware on Sony BDU-x10 hoping to correct issues. Didn't work. Still only able to get partial movie to HDD. Partial movie that finishes is good and streams fine to PS3 but mo matter what method is used fails partially through. I'd be happy to give more info if someone whould please try to help..............

    I had a similar problem.

I had a blu ray movie (Twister) ripped into the hard drive using AnyDVD but was unable to play it back from the hard drive using Windows Media Player 11, Roxio's Cineplayer and Intervideo Win DVD BD. Can some one suggest a solution to this? I couldn't open the m2ts files in the Stream folder using any of the above players.

Also, what softeware can I use to burn this movie back to a blank BD disc?
