back up downloaded movies from hard drive to cd-r

    I would like to know if you can shrink multiple mpeg files to fit on same cd-r fore back up purposes

    Probably not!

    You more than likely need to use DVD's, which can hold much more data!

    It depends. What size are your files? How many are you looking to fit on one VCD?

    most of them are 700MB and i dont really want to make a vcd to watch i just want to keep them so i have them for later.

    Then you can only fit one file onto a CD.
