Hi ~ I've searched the forum and do not find the answer.. I'm trying to make a back up copy of a little girl's DVD, "Livin' it UP! With the BRATZ". Apparently it's an 'interactive' video.

I've tried using (up to date versions of) DVD Decrypter then DVD Shrink -- DVDFab Decrypter then VobBlanker then Shrink -- and finally RipIt4Me then FixVTS then Shrink -- no go on all counts.

Just wanted to check before I threw in the towel ~ Thanking you in advance. *Ü*

have you tried AnyDVD at www.slysoft.com

You could also be running into a problem with the disc. Scartch/Smudge/defective press etc etc. Which in that case make sure the DVD is scratch free and clean. If its a bad press then you will need to exchange the DVD for a new 1.

Did you use DVD Decrypter in iso mode read mode, there is no need to use VobBlanker and FixVTS it may be taking out something that is needed. It would be better to try iso mode and then see if it will Shrink.

Good luck, although if this is a DVD Disk that has interactive stuff that can only be played on a computer I do not know if you will get it. You can always try the trial version of BlindWrite this does a very good job with iso backups. You may however need to back this one up on a Dual Layer disk to get an exact backup.

Hello again ~ Following everyone's advice - I used DVD Decrypter in iso / read mode. Then I used ImgBurn and it was successful!

I tried it (albeit briefly) on my stand alone DVD player and so far it looks like everything is working.

I want to thank you all for helping me with this. You all are so helpful and have always been patient and kind when I've posted ~ again, thank you! *Ü*
